Sun Microsystems

Sun Microsystems logo Sun Microsystems
Sun Microsystems was a global IT company with revenues of $13.8bn and was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2010. Futurecurve worked with the senior management team of the telecommunication division of Sun helping them to develop global sales and account management, working with the senior account teams internationally and working with some of Sun Microsystem’s key customers to develop joint value propositions.

Futurecurve enabled a very technical group of people who were working internally and often alone or with little support, to behave as a team, help each other, drive more new sales, retain more existing accounts and grow higher revenues from existing accounts. As a result of this work, and the strength and high performance of the team, this telecommunications division of Sun Microsystems remained the only unit that was not disbanded or re-organised post-integration by Oracle and is still highly successful in 2012.
