Helen Blake is one of the most experienced Business Developers and Marketers operating in the Professional Services and B2B sectors today. She has spent over 20 years in senior positions for leading organisations including Accenture, Capgemini and KPMG, as well as creating growth strategies within new start-ups and mid-sized companies.
Helen spent a number of years at Accenture as an Associate Partner where she gained a great deal of experience in Outsourcing, Financial Services and Ventures & Alliances. During this period she lived and worked extensively in the United States and continental Europe, with a short period in Asia Pacific. She was also part of the founding management teams for Accenture joint venture companies such as Avanade (jv with Microsoft) and e-peopleserve (jv with BT), creating highly successful brand and go-to-market strategies for both companies.
For one mid-sized consulting business she developed high-impact, measurable programmes that led directly to increased brand awareness of 37%, an increase of contact opportunities of 35%, lead generation improvement of 38% and a sales pipeline increase of 29%.
She is a strong diagnostician who works easily across all levels of an organisation to define and deploy practical and workable solutions. She is highly experienced in creating board-level strategies, notably go-to-market strategies focused on strong value proposition and brand development, and regularly speaks at conferences on the practical aspects and importance of these subjects in enabling sustainable growth. All her work delivers tangible, measurable results.
